Gift Guide: Gifts for Newborns to 6 Months
What are the best gifts for newborn to 6 month old babies?
Trying to come up with Christmas presents can be so stressful... I know in the lead up we get asked by lots of families for ideas for our little ones. To make it easier I've put together a series of guides for gift ideas for your little ones. Most of these we have tried and tested ourselves and love them so much.
Over the next 3 weeks we will be releasing a new guide for a different age group. This week is for new born to 6 months old.
Gift Guide for 0 - 6 Month Olds:
What do you need or want for your little one?
These books are a must have for any new baby. With tactile sensory stimulation, there is a range of textures for your little ones to explore. There is now over 75 of these award-winning touchy-feely books to choose from! Our current favourites are 'That’s Not My Owl', 'That’s Not My Bunny' and 'That’s Not My Teddy'.
Tummy time should start from only a few weeks of age, making a play mat for Christmas a great opportunity to get your little one something they’ll need and also want to play with for years to come. With lots of fun, kid focused designs and a neutral décor friendly reverse side, these play mats are like having two mats for the price of one!
Forget the 'French Giraffe'. Have you met Mizzie? She is Australia’s original natural teething toy. Made from 100% natural rubber she is perfect for teething and soothing sore gums. She is also stimulating for babies, just give her a little squeeze and hear here squeak!
Possibly the softest most cuddly toy around! They are so snuggly and comforting that two of my three use this as their comforter. The best thing is they are available in lots of places, so you’ll always be able to get a backup if your child loves them as much as mine do.
Like all Grimm’s products this is as beautiful as it is functional. With 12 large beech wood beads, these feature beautiful rainbow colours. The colours are non-toxic, and water based meaning it is safe for babies to play with, even when teething.
