Babies that are swaddled often sleep better. It is a big world to a new baby, and the transition from womb to the outside world can be hard for some babies. Swaddling provides newborns with gentle touch and support which they are used to. Therefore, swaddling babies helps support sleep through reducing the impact of the Moro Reflex on baby arm movements.
