Our Road Trip design is the ultimate car baby play mat. Like the car play mats of our childhood, this car play mat features roads as the focus of a town scene. Designed in Australia this play mat is complete with destinations such as schools, hospitals, police stations, farms and even an airport. This provides opportunities for your child to develop their imagination as they move from babyhood in to their preschool years.

The reversible style of Freddy & Co car play mats allows you to choose the perfect design to compliment your home. With a focus on modern design, this Blue Geometric pattern provides a fun colour to lighten up your space. However, if blue isn’t your colour we also provide a range of reverse options. These include a Grey Geometric style and a Marble Tile design to compliment your homes interior.

All Freddy & Co car play mats are from non-toxic PU material, which are tested to international standards ensuring a safe non-toxic play space for your baby. This car play mat is full of features, not only is it educational with reverse options. Furthermore, it also features a soft cushioned design which makes it the perfect addition to the modern play space. Features

Our mats are lightweight and easy to reverse so that you can make the most of our designs. Freddy & Co playmats are also 100% waterproof which makes them easy to clean by wiping them down with a damp cloth (see our care instructions for further information).

Safety

Freddy and Co playmats are made from a non-toxic PU (Polyurethane) material. This makes the mat soft and easy to clean. PU is light weight, flexible material which is extremely durable and our mats have passed international (there are no standards in a Australia) testing and are free from heavy metals, phthalates and formaldehyde.

Cleaning

As our mats are 100% water proof they can easily be cleaned using a soft damp cloth. For harder to clean messes such as those caused by food a mild detergent can also be used. Please do not use any abrasive chemicals or scrubbing utensils on your mat as these may cause damage.

Storage

Due to their soft and flexible nature, Freddy and Co mats can be folded for short periods of time if required (E.g. to fit in your car for travel). However, if left folded for extended periods of time your mat may form creases which will take days to months to come out, we do not recommend storing for periods of longer than 3 days folded. For longer periods of storage time, your mat should be stored rolled, the cartoon provided is the best place for this.

Caring for your playmat

The properties of PU playmats which make them soft and supportive to babies and young children make them susceptible to damage from sharp objects. Sharp items such as pet claws, tools, metal toys with sharp edges, stiletto heels etc. should not be used on the mat as they risk damage. Furthermore, some fading may occur over time if your mat is in direct sunlight. Due to the soft flexible nature of your mat, sitting heavy furniture on it will cause dints in the material which may be permanent if the internal structures are damaged. We do not recommend that you place any heavy objects on your mat.
